Functional Introduction
1.Differential Pinion Shaft Support:
This is its most typical application in the automotive sector. It is mounted inside the differential housing to support the pinion shaft, ensuring precise positioning and rotational stability of the gears.
2.Transmission System Integration:
Apart from differentials, it is commonly used in transmissions, axles, and wheel hubs to handle composite loads from the engine and road.
1.Composite Load Bearing:
Capable of simultaneously withstanding radial loads (gear meshing pressure) and unidirectional axial loads (thrust from gear transmission), making it highly suitable for the loading conditions of differential gears.
2.High Rigidity Support:
The line-contact design of the tapered rollers and raceways provides high rigidity, effectively preventing shaft deformation, ensuring smooth gear engagement, and reducing noise.
3.Adjustable Clearance:
The inner ring (with rollers) and outer ring are separable. During installation, axial clearance or preload can be precisely controlled with shims—a critical step for ensuring transmission efficiency and durability of the differential.
4.Durability:
Typically made of high-strength alloy steel, with a dynamic load rating of approximately 172–173 kN and a static load rating of about 282 kN, suitable for medium-to-low-speed, heavy-duty applications.
